Dear Loyal Members and Families of York Educational Federal Credit Union,
I would like to thank you for your continued support and choice of York Educational Federal Credit Union (YEFCU) as your selected financial institution. Our members are important and the employees and Board of Directors feel honored to serve your financial needs and be part of your ‘YEFCU Family’. When important changes occur within YEFCU it is of vast importance that our members be informed. As we come closer to the end of 2020, we would be remised if we didn’t inform our membership of the retirement of our President/CEO Cathy Henry. We will miss her greatly. Please join us in wishing President Henry a happy retirement after 5 years as President and CEO of YEFCU.
York Educational Federal Credit Union Board of Director’s are proud to introduce Pamala Mohn, our new President/CEO effective Tuesday, December 1st, 2020. President Mohn has served on the Board of Directors at Blue Chip FCU for four years. Shen then transitioned into the role of President/CEO for the past eight and a half years. Pamala is active in the credit union industry. President Mohn currently holds a Board of Directors seat for Cross State Credit Union Association, served on the Nomination Committee, and currently chairs the Governance Committee. Cross State Credit Union Association is the name of the merged Pennsylvania Credit Union Association with the New Jersey Credit Union League. President Mohn states, “I am very honored to be joining the York Educational FCU team. I look forward to working with an amazing team and helping our member’s reach their financial goals.”
President Mohn is looking forward to this opportunity to create a long and beneficial working relationships with the staff and members of York Educational Federal Credit Union. YEFCU will continue to operate as not-for-profit and exist to provide a safe, convenient place for members to save money and to get loans at reasonable rates. The spirit of people helping people will continue to resonate with all employees, board and committee members. The mission of YEFCU will remain the same in striving to improve the quality of life for each of its members by providing financial services, education and information which creates long term financial value for the members.
